International Women's Day

In Mali vertelde een vrouw dat op vrouwendag de mannen voor een dag het werk van de vrouwen mogen doen, dus ook het dragen van kinderen. Het zou zo leuk zijn om daar een fotoreportage van te maken.

Twee dagen geleden was ik bij het concert van Fatoumata Diawara uit Mali. Zij is een grote inspiratie voor mij en andere vrouwen. In haar liedjes doorbreekt zij taboes en brengt mensen samen voor voor vrede. Tussen de nummers door legt zij uit waar het lied over gaat. In het filmpje vertelt ze dat het voor vrouwelijke artiesten moeilijk is om hun creativiteit te ontwikkelen, maar mogelijk. Vrouwen hebben iets te zeggen.

Na afloop van de voorstelling vertelde een man dat het voor mannen ook moeilijk is. Hierop zei ik; bij veel vrouwen komen de kinderen voorop en moeten zij hun talenten ontwikkelen naast het opvoeden van de kinderen, dat maakt het moeilijker.

Daarom is het heel fijn als er mannen zijn die hun deel nemen in de opvoeden, waardoor zijzelf en de moeder van de kinderen gelijke ruimte krijgen om persoonlijk, artistiek en sociaal te kunnen ontwikkelen. Dat is een uiting van liefde in respect en gelijkwaardigheid voor elkaar.


In Mali, a woman told the me that on Women's day a man may do the work of women, including the wearing of children. It would be nice to make a photo shoot there.

After the concert a man told me that it is also difficult for men. To him I said; for many women the children come first. They have to develop their talents after and besides raising the children, which makes it harder.

Therefore, it's so good that there're men who take part in the upbringing of their children. Buy doing that he and the mother of the children have equal space to develop themselves in personal, artistic and social way. That is an expression of love for each other in respect and equality.

Je reste au Mali. Deux jours passe je suis allé au concert de Fatoumata Diawara. Elle est une grande source d'inspiration pour moi, et pour beaucoup de femmes. Dans ses chansons, elle parle de tabous et de rassembler les gens pour un monde de paix. Entre les chansons, elle explique la chanson. Dans la vidéo, elle parle que c'est difficile pour l'artiste féminine de développer leur créativité, mais possible. Les femmes ont quelque choses de dire.

Après le concert, un homme m'a dit que ce est aussi difficile pour les hommes. J'ai dit a lui; pour le majorité des femmes les enfants sont leur premiere responsabilité. Les femmes doivent développer leurs talents après et a cote d'élever leurs enfants. C'est ca qui rend plus difficile.

Par conséquent, c'est tellement bon quand les hommes participent à l'éducation de leurs enfants. Quand il faire ca, a mère des enfants a un espace égal à se développer de manière personnelle, artistique et sociale. C'est une expression d'amour pour l'autre dans le respect et l'égalité.

Moromoro book businessmodel

Om inzicht te krijgen in je bedrijfsmodel is een canvas een overzichtelijke tool. Op een A4 kun je zien wat je core business is ten opzichte van je klanten. In dit model is ook ruimte ingericht voor risico's. Zo kun je redelijk snel inschattingen maken, aangaande je klanten, markt en ontwikkelingen.


Omdat de ontwikkelingen zo snel gaan is er een houdbaarheidsdatum aan je model.Dit canvas betreft een concreter project voor het maken van een book over moromoro. Wat er allemaal bij komt kijken in eerste instantie en welke richting het uitgaat, hoeveel het kost en waar de verdiensten gehaald worden.

Er komt er nog een tweede versie als het book gerealiseerd is en bij Blurb kan worden besteld. Dan komt het gedeelte van de vertaling in Engels en Frans. Immers is een van de belangrijkste doelstellingen de documentatie van cultureel erfgoed van vrouwen uit Senegal en Mali. Zij moeten toegang krijgen tot deze informatie en onze kinderen kunnen zien dat er van pitten geursieraden en potten in een bijzonder vormgeving zijn gemaakt.

The business canvas is a great tool to gain insight into your business. On one page you can see what your core business is in relation to your customers. In this model is extra room for risk. Les développements suivent rapidement. Comme ca il y a une date d'expiration de votre model. Ce model est un projet concret pour créer un livre sur moromoro. Une deuxième version suivre quand le livre est réalise est va se concentre ou traduction en anglais et en français. Après tout, un des principaux objectifs c'est le documentation de l'héritage culturel des femmes du Sénégal et du Mali. Ils devraient avoir accès à cette information et que nos enfants puissent voir que de semences de dankhe sont utelise pour fabrique des bijoux et de pots parfume dans un design unique.

Na 7 keer redigeren, is het manuscript opnieuw gelezen door lezers die niets over moromoro weten. Hun opmerkingen zijn aanleiding om de inleiding te herschrijven.

Dubbellingen heb ik zoveel mogelijk geprobeerd op te sporen en
weg te werken. Met het herschrijven van de inleiding kan dit nog beter.

De reportages over de vrouwen die moromoro maken, verkopen of dragen staan in desbetreffende hoofdstukken. Dit wordt verschillende ervaren. Hiervoor is bewust gekozen. De vrouwen kleuren elk onderdeel met hun verhaal.



After 7 times editing, the manuscript is again read by readers who know nothing about moromoro. Their comments make me rewrite the introduction.

I tried to track as much as possible double textlines and work them away. By rewriting the introduction, this can be even better.

The reports on the women who make, sell or wear moromoro, stand in relevant chapters. Readers experience this very different. This is a conscious choice. The women color each part of the book with their own story about moromoro.

Après 7 fois l'édition, le manuscrit est encore lue par des lecteurs qui ne connaissent rien de moromoro. Leurs commentaires me font réécrire l'introduction.

J'ai essayé de suivre autant que possible les lignes de texte doubles et travailler à l'écart. En réécrivant l'introduction, cela peut être encore mieux.

Les rapports sur les femmes qui font, vendre ou porte le moromoro, sont place dans les chapitres pertinents. Les lecteurs experiencent les rapports très différent. C'est une choix conscient. Les femmes couleur chaque partie du livre avec leur propre histoire sur moromoro.

Er zijn dagen geweest dat stukken tekst schrijven voor moromoro niet lukte en andere dagen dat de woorden 'als ware' vanzelf kwamen. Om de tekst af te ronden is een hele kunst. De cruciale vraag is telkens in hoeverre staat deze informatie dichtbij moromoro? 

Elk onderwerp met betrekking tot moromoro, heeft maximaal twee pagina's. De informatie van de onderwerpen moet ook afzonderlijk te lezen zijn, zonder te veel in herhaling te vallen. Elke tekst heeft een of twee zinnen die eruit springen.

There have been days when writing text documents for moromoro failed and other days that the words came naturally. To round off the text is an art. Crucial question is; to what extent is this information close to moromoro?

Any topic related to moromoro, has a maximum of two pages. The information on the subjects should also be read separately. Each text has one or two a sentencs  that stand out.

Het boek over moromoro met 125 pagina's, is visueel klaar. Voor mij is het belangrijk dat vrouwen, die eraan mee hebben gewerkt, het visuele concept zien. Niet voor commentaar, maar voor betrokkenheid en goedkeuring van de gekozen foto’s waar zij op staan. Dit laatste kan weer veranderen nu er weer veel nieuwe foto’s bij zijn gekomen.

-Uitvoering van de collectie heart4moromoro

Book
The book about moromoro is visual clear with 125 pages. For me it is important that the women who contributed to the book have a look at the concept. Not for comment, but for more involvement and approval of the selected photos of them.
Although the latter may change now that I've a lot of new photos.

Le livre sur moromoro est visuel pret avec 125 pages. Pour moi, c'etais important que les femmes qui contribue dans ce livre, peuvent regarde le concept visuel. Pas pour commentaire, mais pour plus d'implication et l'approbation des leur photos sélectionnées. Bien que celle-ci peut changer maintenant que j'ai fais beaucoup de nouveaux photos.
