Boek klaar
De afgelopen twee weken zijn alle pagina's nogmaals doorgenomen. Dit keer om druk technisch tekst en beeld in de juiste formats, modes en fonts te zetten.
Hier en daar ontbraken inleidingen, die nog erbij geschreven zijn. Achterin waren de bronvermelding op een hoop gezet en moesten uitgezocht worden. Alle linken van beeld, video en artikelen nakijken of het nog werkt.
Appendix
De aanzet staat op papier, maar deze moet nog uitgewerkt worden. Er zijn meerdere technische tekeningen van de detarium microcarpum, maar je komt telkens op beeldrecht. Ik heb besloten om zelf een illustratie te maken van de bloeiwijze, bladeren en vrucht. Ten slotte heb ik foto's genomen van de meeste plantendelen, die als aroma bij wierook of het maken van 'pittenklei' als grondstof dienen of worden toegevoegd.
Boek in PDF
Als al het beeld in de juiste mode staat en de lagen worden weergegeven als in het lay-out, kan het boek gecomprimeerd worden in een pdf bestand. Dit bestand kan worden verstuurd om als laatste door lezers en kijkers te worden beoordeeld. Met de feedback kan de inhoud van het boek nog duidelijker worden gemaakt voor de lezers, die meer of minder met het onderwerp bekend zijn.
Het boek wordt ook bekeken door mensen, die geen Nederlands kennen. Hier is de beeldindruk doorslaggevend.
Een eerste indruk kun je maar één keer maken
The past two weeks all the pages of the book have been looked at again. This time to control if all text and images were in the correct formats, modes and fontstype.
Here and there introductions were missing. In the back of the book the source reference needed to be sorted out. All links to images, videos and articles needed a check, if they were still working.
appendix
The appendix needed to be worked out. There are technical drawings of detarium microcarpum tree, but every time you have to mind the image rights. I have decided to make an illustration myself of the blossom, leaves and fruit of the tree. Finally, I have taken pictures of most plant parts which serve as aromatic ingredient in incense or to moromoro jewelry and pots.
Book in PDF
If all the image are in the correct mode and the layers are displayed as in the layout, the book can be compressed into a PDF file. This file can be sent to readers and viewers to be evaluated. With the feedback, the content of the book can be made better for the readers.The book is also viewed by people who don't speak Dutch. Here the impression of the images has to give an impression of moromoro.

Les deux dernières semaines, tous les pages du livre ont été examinées une derniere fois. Ce temps de contrôler si tous les textes et images sont dans les bons formats, modes et fontstype.
Parfois les introductions manguent. C'etais nécessaire d'organise les références de la source. Tous les références vers les images, vidéos et articles sur l'internet avaient besoin d'un chèque, si elles travaillaient encore.
Annexe
L'annexe devait être élaboré. Il ya des dessins techniques de l'arbre de microcarpum Détarium, mais je dois avoir le droit d'utelise certain image. J'ai décidé de faire une illustration moimeme de la fleur, les feuilles et les fruits de l'arbre. Enfin, j'ai pris des photos de la plupart des parties de plantes qui servent comme ingrédient aromatique dans l'encens ou de moromoro bijoux et pots.
Livre en PDFSi tout l'image sont dans le bon mode, le livre peut être compressé dans un fichier PDF. Ce fichier peut être envoyé aux lecteurs et voyeurs à évaluer. Avec des réactions, le contenu du livre peut être amélioré pour les lecteurs. Le livre est également consulté par des personnes qui ne parlent pas le néerlandais. Voici l'impression des images doit donner une impression de moromoro.

Illustreren voor het boek over moromoro
Moromoro neemt mij mee op avontuur, maar ook op ontwikkeling. Ik leer, zie en ontmoet veel mensen. Voor het boek over moromoro heb ik mijn schrijven en illustreren verder ontwikkeld.
Om illustraties in het boek te kiezen en maken zijn een aantal redenen;
- meer een fashion look aan het boek geven
- illustraties geven verrassingen in het beeldmateriaal
- technische tekeningen van kralen en kettingen
- praktisch om geschikt beeldmateriaal te gebruiken zonder auteursrechten te schenden.

Ik wil moromoro sieraden op de markt brengen als groen fashion sieraad. Zolang ik aan het boek werk blijft deze kant van moromoro 'on hold'. Met de illustraties kan ik een hint in de richting geven.
diversiteit in beeldmateriaal
Afwisseling van beeldmateriaal maakt een boek vol verassingen. Je wordt niet alleen getrakteerd op de grote lijnen en details van moromoro in foto, maar in een illustratieve setting vormen ze in een rode draad in het boek en een aanvulling aan de verschillende invalshoeken waarin moromoro wordt belicht.

Voor details van kettingen en kralen, zoals de hoeveelheden strengen, hoe de verbindingen zijn, of de versiering van kralen worden in technische tekeningen helder en duidelijk weergegeven.

De opbouw van het boek is visueel. Immers moet het boek herkenbaar zijn voor vrouwen in Afrika die analfabeet zijn. Beelden zijn belangrijk.
Voor moromoro heb ik een archief opgebouwd van foto's uit Afrika en Nederland. Ik kan voor negentig procnt hieruit een keuze maken. Soms neem ik foto's opnieuw, die meer in de stijl van het boek passen.
Er zijn situaties waar ik geen foto's van heb, maar andere fotografen of musea wel. Ik heb aan vier fotografen toestemming gevraagd om een foto's in het boek te publiceren. Een Afrikaanse fotograaf vindt het prima, onder vermelding van zijn naam. Van de andere foto's heb ik illustraties gemaakt.
illustreren & ontwikkelen
Tijdens het illustreren heb ik leren tekenen met vectors. Na een aantal tutorials lukte het om vectorillustraties te maken van foto's of eigen illustraties. Al nemen deze illustraties veel tijd in, door het leerproces, de voldoening van een geslaagde illustratie is des te groter.

fashion look
As a fashion stylist, I want to promote moromoro as a green jewel. As long as I continue to work on the book this side of moromoro 'on hold'. Still, I can give a hint in the direction with the illustrations.
diversity in images
Variety of material is a book full of surprises. You will see details of moromoro in pictures, along side illustrations in the book. This in addition to the various perspectives in which moromoro is exposed.
technical drawings of beads and necklaces
Technical drawings can be more clear for details of necklaces and beads, such as the number of strands, the connection, or the decoration of beads.
photos and copyright
The structure of the book is visual. Indeed, the book should be recognizable for women in Africa who are illiterate. Pictures are important.
For moromoro I have built up an archive of photographs from Africa and the Netherlands. I can select any one of ninety percent. Some pictures I take again, so they fit better in the style of the book.
Sometimes I don't have pictures, but other photographers or museums do. I asked permission to four photographers to publish their photo in the book. One African photographer gave permission, stating his name is mentioned. Of the other photos I made illustrations.
illustrating & development
While illustrating I learned to draw in vectors. After some tutorials I managed to draw from pictures or my own illustrations. In short, vestorillustrations take more time for the learning process, but the satisfaction of a successful illustration is greater.

Pour sélectionner des illustrations pour le livre il sont des raisons .- de donner le livre plus d'un look fashion- illustrations donnent des diversite dans le livre- les illustrations techniques de perles et colliers sont plus claires- pour des raisons pratiques à utiliser, donc respect le droit de l'auteur.

Je veux promouvoir moromoro comme un bijoux vert et eco. Tant que je continue à travailler sur le livre, de ce côté de moromoro dois attente. Pourtant, je peux donner un ambiance avec les illustrations.

Dessins techniques peuvent montre plus clair pour les détails de colliers et des perles , comme la connexion ou la décoration de perles.

La structure de l'ouvrage est visuelle. En effet, le livre doit être reconnaissable pour les femmes en Afrique qui sont analphabètes. Les images sont importantes.
Pour moromoro j'ai construit une archive de photographies de l'Afrique et les Pays-Bas. Je peux choisir un des quatre-vingt pour cent de mes photo's. Certaines photos je reprends, quand ils s'intègrent mieux dans le style de l'ouvrage.
Parfois, je n'ai pas de photos, mais d'autres photographes ou des musées ont. Je demandai la permission a quatre photographes de publier leur photo. Un photographe africain a donné l'autorisation, en indiquant son nom est mentionné. Et d'autres photos j'ai fait d'illustrations.
illustrant et développement
J'ai appris à dessiner dans des vecteurs. Après quelques tutoriels, j'ai réussi à dessiner avec vecteur à partir d'images ou mes propres illustrations. En bref, vecteur illustrations prennent plus de temps pour le processus d'apprentissage, mais la satisfaction d'une illustration réussie est plus grande.

Goedkeuring van de dames in Senegal
Het boek is beeldend op gezet. Daarna ben ik de tekst gaan schrijven. Dit manuscript is vele keren geredigeerd, waarna het in het beeldconcept is geplaatst.
Bij deze eerste opzet telt het boek 180 pagina's. Alle 180 pagina's zijn uitgeprint en in een map gebonden. In Senegal kunnen de dames aan de foto's zien hoe het boek gaat worden. Daba, Bousso, Fati, Adji en Tina bekijken elk aandachtig de pagina's, de boom, de sieraden en potjes. Bij hun interview blijven ze nog langer kijken. Dus zo komen ze in het boek. Het is spannend. Vinden ze het er goed uitzien. Er wordt druk gepraat en pagina's worden uitgewisseld. En ... een lach, ze zijn tevreden. Dat betekend veel voor me.
De goedkeuring van Daba, Bousso, Fati en Adji is als een zegen om verder te gaan.
Verder met het boek betekent vooral al het beeldmateriaal bewerken. Hoewel dit mijn beroep is, heb ik het toch enigszins onderschat. Voorlopig ben ik nog even bezig om alles druktechnisch in orde te maken. De bedoeling is dat het boek print on demand via Blurb te bestellen is. Dit houdt in dat het volgens de opmaak voorwaarden van Blurb moet worden aangeleverd.

The book is set up on a visual base. After that I started writing the text. This manuscript was edited many times, after which it is placed together with the visual concept.The first draw of the book consist of 180 pages. All 180 pages are printed and bound in a folder. In Senegal, the ladies can look at the pictures and see how the book is going to be . Daba, Bousso, Fati, Adji and Tina look at each the pages and themes carefully; the tree, jewelry and pots. At the page with their own interview they stay to have a longer look.
It's exciting. Do they approve. There is much talk and pages are exchanged. And ... a laugh, they are satisfied. That means a lot to me.
The aproval of Daba, Bousso, Fati and Adji is like a blessing for the book.
To continue the book does consist editing images. Although this is my profession, I've underestimated somewhat anyway. For now I'm still arranging every image to be technically okay for printing. The intention is to order the book, print on demand at Blurb. This means that it should be formatted according to the printing requirements of Blurb.

Ce manuscrit a été modifié de nombreuses fois, après quoi il est placé conjointement avec la conception visuelle .Le premier tirage du livre etais de 180 pages. Les 180 pages sont imprimées et reliées dans un dossier. Au Sénégal, les femmes peuvent regarder les images et voir comment le livre va être. Daba, Bousso, Fati, Adji et Tina regardent chacune des pages et des thèmes soigneusement; l'arbre, des bijoux et des pots. À la page avec leur propre entretien, ils rester à avoir un regard plus .C'est excitant. Est-ce qu'ils approuvent. On parle beaucoup et pages sont échangés. Et ... un rire, ils sont satisfaits. Cela signifie beaucoup pour moi.
L'approbation de Daba, Bousso, Fati et Adji est comme une bénédiction pour le livre .Pour continuer le livre le focus etais sur l'édition d'images. Bien, c'est ma profession, j'ai sous-estimé un peu de toute façon. Pour l'instant je suis toujours arrangeait chaque image d'être techniquement correct pour l'impression. L'intention est de commander le livre, en bas de l'impression sur demande chez Blurb. Cela signifie qu'il doit être mis en forme selon les exigences d'impression d'Blurb.

#boek redigeren - edit the #book
Na 7 keer redigeren, is het manuscript opnieuw gelezen door lezers die niets over moromoro weten. Hun opmerkingen zijn aanleiding om de inleiding te herschrijven.
Dubbellingen heb ik zoveel mogelijk geprobeerd op te sporen en
weg te werken. Met het herschrijven van de inleiding kan dit nog beter.
De reportages over de vrouwen die moromoro maken, verkopen of dragen staan in desbetreffende hoofdstukken. Dit wordt verschillende ervaren. Hiervoor is bewust gekozen. De vrouwen kleuren elk onderdeel met hun verhaal.
After 7 times editing, the manuscript is again read by readers who know nothing about moromoro. Their comments make me rewrite the introduction.
I tried to track as much as possible double textlines and work them away. By rewriting the introduction, this can be even better.
The reports on the women who make, sell or wear moromoro, stand in relevant chapters. Readers experience this very different. This is a conscious choice. The women color each part of the book with their own story about moromoro.
Après 7 fois l'édition, le manuscrit est encore lue par des lecteurs qui ne connaissent rien de moromoro. Leurs commentaires me font réécrire l'introduction.
J'ai essayé de suivre autant que possible les lignes de texte doubles et travailler à l'écart. En réécrivant l'introduction, cela peut être encore mieux.
Les rapports sur les femmes qui font, vendre ou porte le moromoro, sont place dans les chapitres pertinents. Les lecteurs experiencent les rapports très différent. C'est une choix conscient. Les femmes couleur chaque partie du livre avec leur propre histoire sur moromoro.

ronde 2: tekst update van feedback meelezers,
ronde 3: hardop lezen en tekst aanpassen, het manuscript telt nog 38 pagina's,
ronde 4: aandacht voor spelling, toon of voice en interpunctie,
24 juni: ronde 5: hele dag samen met Desdee de puntjes op de i gezet. Spelling en interpunctie als speerpunt, maar ook dubbelingen en tijden van werkwoorden.
3 juli: ronde 6: tekst update van feedback meelezers, daarna script naar de schrijverscoach verstuurd. Zij gaat zich inlezen om een beeld te krijgen.
5 juli: manuscript bespreken met schrijverscoach. Goed gesprek met bruikbare schrijftips
ronde 7: aan de slag met schrijvers tips
14 juli: manuscript nog 35 pagina's. Minder tekst, meer informatie, dat voelt lekker.

What about moromoro?
Het schrijfwerk voor het boek is in volle gang.Grappig is dat je met het schrijven de puntjes op de i gaat zetten, waardoor kleine verborgen wetenswaardigheden beter in zicht komen. Zoals bij het gedeelte over de productie met beschrijvingen hoe kettingen, potten en schalen worden gemaakt. Elke methode is aangepast aan de mogelijkheden van de pittenklei.
Het researchwerk over keramiek in West Afrika is een ware ontdekking. Oude beschavingen als de Nok-cultuur uit Nigeria. De terracotta voorwerpen en sculpturen hebben allen een typische stijl en zijn van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit.
Al deze ontdekkingen houdt het schrijven spannend.
Funny thing is that you discover little hidden facts and you make them come out better in sight. Like the section on production with descriptions how necklaces, pots and bowls are made. Each method is adapted to the capabilities of the pitt clay.
The research work on ceramics in West Africa is a discovery. Ancient civilizations such as the Nok culture of Nigeria. The terracotta objects and sculptures all have a typical style and are of exceptional quality.
All these discoveries keep writing exciting.
L'écriture du livre est en plein essor.
Le plus drôle est que vous découvrirez petits faits cachés et vous les faire sortir mieux en vue. Comme la section sur la production de descriptions comment colliers, des pots et bols sont faits. Chaque procédé est adapté aux capacités de l'argile pitt.
Les travaux de recherche sur la céramique en Afrique de l'Ouest est une découverte. Les civilisations anciennes telles que la culture Nok du Nigeria. Les objets en terre cuite et les sculptures ont tous un style typique et sont d'une qualité exceptionnelle.

en andere dagen dat de woorden 'als ware' vanzelf kwamen. Om de tekst
af te ronden is een hele kunst. De cruciale vraag is telkens in hoeverre
staat deze informatie dichtbij moromoro?
Elk
onderwerp met betrekking tot moromoro, heeft maximaal twee pagina's. De
informatie van de onderwerpen moet ook afzonderlijk te lezen zijn,
zonder te veel in herhaling te vallen. Elke tekst heeft een of twee
zinnen die eruit springen.
Maak kennis met Coumba, Adji, Daba, Bousso, Fati, Korotoum, Fatoumata en Fatou op hun eigen pagina. Zij vertellen wat hun relatie is met moromoro en laten het verhaal dichterbij komen.

Après avoir écrit le premier texte, un second tour était de corriger et de compléter. Finallement, j'ai fait le texte plat. La table des matières et des indicateurs du sujets restent, en ordre de séparer les sujets les uns des autres.

Boek
Het boek over moromoro met 125 pagina's, is visueel klaar. Voor mij is het belangrijk dat vrouwen, die eraan mee hebben gewerkt, het visuele concept zien. Niet voor commentaar, maar voor betrokkenheid en goedkeuring van de gekozen foto’s waar zij op staan. Dit laatste kan weer veranderen nu er weer veel nieuwe foto’s bij zijn gekomen.
De propvolle werkagenda was gevuld met onder andere;
-Innovatie en kwaliteitsverbetering van moromoro sieraden, potjes en schalen
-Uitvoering van de collectie heart4moromoro
-Fotoshoots van de collectie in Senegal
The book about moromoro is visual clear with 125 pages. For me it is important that the women who contributed to the book have a look at the concept. Not for comment, but for more involvement and approval of the selected photos of them.
Although the latter may change now that I've a lot of new photos.
There was a filled work agenda with features like;
-Innovation and quality of moromoro jewelry, pots and bowls
-Implementation of the collection heart4moromoro
-Photoshoots of the collection in Senegal
Livre
Le livre sur moromoro est visuel pret avec 125 pages. Pour moi, c'etais important que les femmes qui contribue dans ce livre, peuvent regarde le concept visuel. Pas pour commentaire, mais pour plus d'implication et l'approbation des leur photos sélectionnées. Bien que celle-ci peut changer maintenant que j'ai fais beaucoup de nouveaux photos.
L'agenda du travail serré a été rempli avec plusieur choses comme;
-Innovation et qualité des bijoux moromoro, pots et bols
-Mise en œuvre de la collection heart4moromoro
-Photoshoots de la collection au Sénégal
