#SEfair - Strawberry Earth Fair 2014

Strawberry Earth fair is een festival op een inspirerende plek aan de Tolhuisstraat in Amsterdam Noord. Een goed gevuld programma met workshops en activiteiten. 

Ik had me ingeschreven voor de sushi workshop, maar kwam er niet aan toe. De talkshow over de toekomst van de mode had al mijn aandacht. 


Hoe krijgen we de mode industrie meer naar slow fashion?
Deze industrie loopt hopeloos achter met het nemen van stappen, hoewel er genot innovaties zijn. het oude concept van massa en dus overproductie lijkt voor de klant goedkoop, maar de kosten voor moeder aarde en de textielwerkers zijn dubbel zo hoog. Op alle fronten moet er verandering komen, willen we in de toekomst nog keuzes kunnen maken. Ook koning klant zal zijn verantwoording hierin moeten nemen voor de toekomst van onze wereld. 


Maar wat zijn de alternatieven? 
Op de fair staan een aantal brands met hun producten, zoals K.O.I (Kings of Indigo) en ook de Textielfabrique. In de expositie ruimte laten ontwerpers hun innovatieve producten zien.

Strawberry Earth fair is a festival on an inspiring place at the Tolhuisstraat in the North of Amsterdam. A full program of workshops and activities. 

I had signed up for the sushi workshop, but did not come round to it. The talk show about the future of fashion had all my attention. 

How do we get the fashion industry to more slow? 
This industry is hopelessly behind in taking steps, although so many innovations. The old concept of mass production and so on seems to the customer cheap, but the cost to Mother Earth and the textile workers are twice as high. The costumer should also take on responsibility by making better choices for the future of our world. 

But what are the alternatives? 
On the fair are a number of brands and their products, such as KOI (Kings of Indigo) and the Textilefabrique. In the exhibition space designers to show their innovative products. 

Strawberry Earth fair est un festival à la Tolhuisstraat dans le Nord d'Amsterdam. Un programme complet d'ateliers et d'activités. 

Je m'étais inscrit à une workshop de sushi, mais je n'ai pas se rallier à elle. Le talk-show sur l'avenir de la mode avait toute mon attention. 

Comment pouvons-nous faire l'industrie de la mode plus lent?
Cette industrie est désespérément en retard à prendre des mesures, même si à de nombreuses innovations. Le vieux concept de production de masse et ainsi de suite semble le client pas cher, mais le coût a Mere Terre et les travailleurs du textile sont deux fois de plus. Le costumier doit également assumer la responsabilité de faire une meilleurs choix pour l'avenir de notre monde. 

Mais quelles sont les alternatives? 
Sur la foire existe un certain nombre de marques et de leurs produits, tels que KOI (Kings of Indigo) et la Textilefabrique. Dans les concepteurs de l'espace d'exposition pour présenter leurs produits innovants.

Henna schilderen - Henna painting

Moromoro loves mother nature. Toepassingen met plantaardig materiaal kan in veel vormen, zoals moromoro en henna schilderen.

In het verleden heb ik met henna geschilderd. Ik ben begonnen om met een stokje te schilderen. De tekening is dan grover. Nu schilder ik met een spuit en een naald, waardoor de schildering meer details kan krijgen. Als de henna goed kan drogen en in de huid kan trekken blijft het ruim een week zichtbaar, bij gewoon handen wassen. Verzorging met olijfolie maakt de kleur dieper.

Henna schilderen is een mooie aanvulling als moromoro een event heeft. Je kunt dan naast zien, voelen, passen en ruiken, ook een henna tatoe laten schilderen. 

Volgende event is op het 5 jarig jubileum van het Afrika Festival in Den Haag op zaterdag 29 juni. Er zijn spectaculaire optredens, culturele manifestatie en een Afrikaanse markt waar moromoro staat. Bij onze kraam kun je moromoro sieraden en accessoires kopen, haar vlecht en henna schilderen.

Moromoro loves mother nature. Applications with plant material can be in many forms, such moromoro and henna painting.

In the past I've painted with henna. I started to paint with a stick. The lines of the drawing are bigger. With a syringe and needle, the lines are thinner and the painting more detailed. If the henna can dry well, it will fall off the skin. The painting remains visible over a week. Robe the skin with olive oil to make the red color deeper.

Henna painting is a good when moromoro joins an event. You can then see, feel, smell and fit moromoro as well as, having a henna tattoo.

Next event is the fifth anniversary jubiluem of the Africa Festival in The Hague on Saturday June 29. There are spectacular performances, cultural event and an African market where moromoro will be present. At moromoro you can buy jewelry and accessories, my friend will be hair braiding and there is henna painting.


Moromoro aime la nature mère. Applications avec du matériel végétal sont dans de nombreuses formes, comme moromoro et la peinture au henné.

Dans le passé, j'ai peint avec du henné. J'ai commencé à peindre avec un bâton. Les lignes de dessin sont grossier. Avec une seringue et une aiguille, les lignes sont plus fines et le dessin peut obtenir plus de détails. Quand le henné est bien sécher (2 heures), le dessien puex reste visible, sur la peau, pendant une semaine. Soins à l'huile d'olive rend la couleur plus profonde.

Peinture au henné est un ajout intéressant quand moromoro est au un événement. Vous pouvez ensuite voir, sentir, essaye et sene le parfum du moromoro, mais aussi à peindre un tatouage au henné.

Prochain rendez-vous est sur le cinquième jubiluem anniversaire du Festival de l'Afrique à La Haye le samedi Juin 29. Il ya des performances spectaculaires, événement culturel et un marché africain où moromoro participe. Chez moromoro, vous pouvez acheter des bijoux et accessoires, ma copine fait le tressage de cheveux et il y a de la peinture au henné.

Dagelijks denk ik aan moeder aarde, wonend in een stad sta ik ver van haar af. Met moromoro kan ik in meerdere opzichten vorm geven aan de inspiratie en levenskracht die zij mij geeft

Met weinig middelen kun je keuzes maken met respect voor ons milieu en de natuur. De pittenklei is van zichzelf natuurlijk en wordt gewonnen via handwerk of machine. Er komen geen chemische processen of toevoegingen bij kijken. Daardoor is het heel geschikt als cradle2cradle product. Combinaties met pitten of schelpen geven de sieraden meer karakter. Belangrijk is de natuurlijke geur van moromoro, die je meeneemt in de zachtheid van een zwoele warme bries, beladen met een vleugje mysterieuze nectar uit Afrika.

With few resources you can make choices with respect for environment and nature. The organic clay is natural and extracted through craft or machine. There are no additives or chemical processes involved. As a result, it is very suitable as a cradle2cradle product. Combinations with seeds or shells give the jewelry more character. Important is the natural fragrance of moromoro, that spreads a warm soft breeze, laden with a hint of mysterious nectar from Africa.

Tous les jours je pense à la terre-mère, vivant dans une ville que je suis loin d'elle. Avec moromoro je peux modeler à plusieurs égards à l'inspiration et de vitalité, elle me donne.

Avec peu de ressources, je choix avec respect de la nature et d'environnement. L'argile organique est tous naturel et extrait par métier ou machine. Il n'y a pas d'additifs ou de procédés chimiques impliqués. En conséquence, il est très approprié comme un produit cradle2cradle. Combinaisons avec des graines ou des coquilles donnent les bijoux plus de caractère. Important c'est l'odeur naturelle de moromoro. Ca donne une  douce brise, chargés avec un soupçon de nectar mystérieux de l'Afrique.
