Stichting Kwekerij Fadial en moromoro stonden 16 oktober met een kraam in het Wellant college in Gorinchem, ter gelegenheid van wereldvoedseldag. 

Vier organisaties, waaronder Kwekerij Fadial, doen mee met een verkiezing. Elke organisatie wordt vertegenwoordigd door een chef kok, die samen met studenten een gerecht bereid. Vier gerechten vormen samen het werelddiner. De jury en gasten kiezen het beste gerecht. Alle vier de organisaties krijgen een bedrag mee. De winnaar krijgt een extra som.

Adopteer een boom
Het is een geslaagde avond. Tussen de gangen door presenteren de organisaties zichzelf. Kwekerij Fadial wordt in Nederland vertegenwoordigd door Mame en Jan. Bij de kwekerij kun je voor 10 euro een (fruit)boom adopteren. Je krijgt een certificaat en jaarlijkse informatie.

Moromoro sluit zich bij de doelstelling van Kwekerij Fadial aan met een specifieke fruitboom, de detarium microcarpum. Dat is de dankhe boom in Senegal. De bomen worden in en rondom het dorp Fadial geplant. Fadial ligt in de Sine Saloum in Senegal.

 

Foundation Nursery Fadial and moromoro were October 16 with a stall in the Wellant college in Gorinchem, on the occasion of World Food Day.

Dinsdag 8 oktober is door de kamer van koophandel in Amsterdam de africanroadshow georganiseerd met het thema Dutch Design 2 Africa. Mijn nieuwsgierigheid is gewekt en op de aankondiging blijkt dat er veel mode design is. Sprekers als Stella van Himbergen van DDiD en Cas Abeln van Vlisco Group zijn interessant om te gaan zien en horen.

Tijdens de introductie blijkt dat het gaat om Nederlandse designers warm te maken voor investeringen en werken in Afrika, met name Zuid Afrika. Het gaat niet zo zeer om designers die een productie in Afrika hebben en het vervolgens in het westen willen verkopen, zoals moromoro.

Een aantal gasten lichten toe waar je als ondernemer op moet letten als je in Afrika wilt investeren, produceren of verkopen, van betrouwbare business partners tot corruptie en van culturele verschillen tot de voordelen hiervan. Vooral de Nederlandse manier van denken kwam meerdere keren voorbij, die zichtbaar is in het bedenken van oplossingen of opmerkelijke ontwerpen.
In Zuid Afrika wordt in 2014 de world design capital 2014 cape town georganiseerd. Sociale, fysieke en logistieke problemen rondom verstedelijking zijn slechts een paar voorbeelden waar slimme op praktische oplossingen voor nodig zijn. Kennis uit het buitenland kan hierop een antwoord geven; kansen voor designers.

Het verhaal van Stella van Himbergen van DDiD klonk bekend in de oren. DDiD geeft adviezen aan ethical ontwerpers in bijvoorbeeld materiaalkeuze.

TIP: op de site van doingbusiness.org, staat een ranking lijst met welke landen op basis van zakendoen. De score is onder andere opgebouwd uit papierwerk, vervoer, belastingen, enzovoorts.

De talk van Cathal McKee van CMK1 heeft op mij het meest indruk gemaakt. Hij vertelde zijn persoonlijke verhaal over hoe en waarom hij in Zuid Afrika is gaan wonen. De inspiratie van de ongestructureerdheid en de vele voorbeelden werden in komisch en vlot vertelt. Donkere Zuid Afrikanen die zich herontdekken en vervolgens manifesteren in een smeltkroes van culturen. Cathal sluit zijn talk af met zijn 4 i's: inrelavantie, inpermanentie, inperfectie en inspiratie.

Dat laatste heeft hij mij wel meegegeven. Via een zoektocht op internet naar een aantal van zijn beelden kwam ik bij fashionclash, salon/locale en gaschette magazine.

Tuesday, October 8 , the africa roadshow is organized by the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam with the theme Dutch design 2 Africa. My curiosity was aroused together with the announcement that there is a lot of fashion design .
 
During the introduction it became clear that it is about getting Dutch designers to invest or work in Africa; especially South Africa.  It's not so much about designers who have a production in Africa and then to sell their product in the West, like moromoro. 

Some guests explain what comes in your way when you want to invest in Africa, in matters of production, selling, reliable business partners, corruption and cultural differences. Especially the Dutch way of thinking was several times heard. That becomes visible in solution thinking and remarkable designs.

L'histoire de Stella Himbergen de DDiD semblait familier. DDiD offre des conseils sur les créateurs éthiques dans les matériaux, par exemple. Grâce à une recherche sur Internet pour certains de ses images je suis venu à fashionclash, salon/locale et gaschette magazine.

Iemand vroeg me 'Hoe is het met het boek?'
Een goede vraag en ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat er veel tijd overheen gaat. Misschien ben ik in de valkuil van het eeuwig redigeren gevallen. Dat houdt het maken van een boek op of het maakt je onzeker.

Nog een keer wil ik dat het manuscript gelezen wordt. Dit keer puur op de inhoud vanuit antroposofisch uitgangspunt. Het manuscript wordt gestuurd naar twee antropologen, die beiden verbonden zijn met West Afrika.

Speurtocht naar Marie Jose Opper
Ik ben ook op zoek naar Marie Jose Opper. Zij is de enige auteur, die uitgebreid over parfum sieraden uit Noord en West Afrika heeft geschreven. Het is best spannend, omdat ze niet via het internet te benaderen is.
Inmiddels ben ik lid geworden van Ethnic Jewels, waar ze ook lid van is en heb haar een bericht gestuurd. Het is wel ruim 6 maanden geleden dat ze Ethnic Jewel heeft bezocht. Wordt vervolgt.

Op deze manier heb ik ook getracht om in contact te komen met Adama Bah Konare, de schrijfster van Parfums du Mali. Het is me gelukt om haar dochter te bereiken, die het boekje heeft uitgegeven. Het mailcontact heeft geen kennisdelen opgeleverd. Er was interesse om het boekje te verkopen en daarna bleef het stil.

Jammer, want ik vind het belangrijk om mensen die al onderzoek naar sieraden en parfum in Mali en Senegal hebben gedaan op de hoogte te stellen van mijn activiteiten. Het gaat hierbij niet om mij, maar meer om de documentatie van een stuk cultureel erfgoed.

Manuscript 
Nu het manuscript zo goed als af is kan het framewerk worden ingevuld, de foto's worden bewerkt en de opmaak worden uitgevoerd. Deze stappen doe ik binnen de richtlijnen van Blurb, want daar zal ik het boek laten printen. Daarbij komt er een e-book editie.

Vertalen
Tot slot is fijn als het boek vertaald gaat worden in Engels en Frans, zodat de vrouwen van West Afrika, de artiesten, maar ook vrouwen die van moromoro houden, meer informatie kunnen lezen. Tegelijk kunnen andere artiesten, musea of green fashion ontwerpen inspiratie opdoen in plantaardige keramiek.

De brief van #ondernemersgids.nl die ik op woensdag 28 augustus kreeg is een foutje, een collega had niet begrepen dat het dit keer om een creditnota ging. Vrijdag 30 augustus heb ik alsnog de brief van ondernemersgids.nl met excuses en een creditnota ontvangen.

Ondertussen heeft deze oplichtingszaak veel tijd gekost, om van alles uit te zoeken, brieven te schrijven, en klachten te melden, niet te vergeten een aangetekende brief en de nodige emotionele stress dit dit soort onnodige zaken met zich mee brengt. Ik ben wel blij dat het voorbij is en bedank iedereen voor meeleven, meedenken, meezoeken en tips.

Laten we hopen dat bedrijven die op deze manier geld verdienen gaan inzien dat dit niet loont. Iedereen die in deze situatie zit of geraakt wens ik sterkte, geduld en wijsheid toe. Geloof in jou integriteit en oprecht manier van zaken doen,
dit is duurzaam en 'goed' verdiend.

Mijn bedrijf is benadeeld door ondernemersgids.nl. Ze verknippen telefoonopnames en monteren deze tot een plaatsingsovereenkomst; daarna krijg je een nota van 665,50 euro.

Op 30 juli verteld een man dat mijn bedrijf gratis staat vermeld op hun site en dat deze vermelding automatisch verlengd wordt na een jaar. Dit kost 550 euro. Ik wil hier geen gebruik van te maken en heb dit duidelijk gezegd. Deze afmelding kon ik telefonische regelen. 

Op 9 augustus 2013 krijg ik een nota van 550 euro + btw = 665,50 euro in de bus. Ik heb direct een mail gestuurd om deze nota toe te lichten en te annuleren. Hierop heb ik geen antwoord gekregen.

Op 19 augustus heb ik ondernemersgids gebeld. De telefoniste heeft de bandopname van het zogenaamde annuleringsgesprek laten terugluisteren. Er kopt iets niet. Vervolgens is mij gewezen op het termijn om binnen 8 dagen aangetekend het contract te annuleren. Waarom zou je annuleren als je denkt dat dit al is gebeurd. Het is geen toeval dat de nota precies 9 dagen later in de bus valt. 

Ik zeg dat ik de zaak tot de bodem wil uitzoeken. De nota is onterecht. De telefoniste stelt me per direct in gebreke.

De volgende dag, 20 augustus, krijg ik een brief op de mat. Hierin staat dat ik het bedrag + extra administratiekosten van 99, 85 euro, binnen 3 dagen moet betalen. Ik heb een aangetekende brief gestuurd met de volgende punten aan ondernemersgids;

- ik wil een kopie van de bandopname van het gesprek van 30 juni 2013,

- een annulering van de factuur

- onmiddellijke verwijdering van mijn bedrijfsnaam van de site ondernemersgids.nl .

De lijst met klachten over acquisitiefraude van dit bedrijf is lang. Daarbij komt dat ze niets anders doen dan wat de KvK gratis doet. Dus zij voegen niets toe en leveren ook geen service.

Ik heb ondernemersgids op 19 augustus gemeld bij Steunpunt Acquisitiefraude. Zij geven tips wat ik het beste kan doen. Een dossier opbouwen en als het nodig is schriftelijk in contact blijven. Bij het versturen van een aangetekende brief geen handtekening zetten. Melden bij het bel-me-niet register, om dit soort telefoontjes te voorkomen.
Tevens heb ik de fraude van ondernemersgids.nl als klacht gemeld bij klacht.nl
 
Op 26 augustus ben ik twee keer door de crediteuren administratie van ondernemersgids gebeld. Ik heb gezegd dat ik een aangetekende brief heb gestuurd, die door hun is aangenomen en alleen nog schriftelijk contact wil. Hierop hebben zij naar Klacht.nl bericht dat ze de zaak hebben oplost door de factuur te crediteren. Wat ik niet heb gehoord omdat ik de telefoon ophing. Zoals ik al zei, alleen schriftelijk contact.


Vandaag komt er een brief binnen, met de volgende mededeling; als ik niet een mijn betalingsplicht voldoe wordt er een juridische procedure gestart. Alle bijkomende kosten zijn voor mijn rekening. Ik heb vijf dagen om te betalen.

Na 7 keer redigeren, is het manuscript opnieuw gelezen door lezers die niets over moromoro weten. Hun opmerkingen zijn aanleiding om de inleiding te herschrijven.

Dubbellingen heb ik zoveel mogelijk geprobeerd op te sporen en
weg te werken. Met het herschrijven van de inleiding kan dit nog beter.

De reportages over de vrouwen die moromoro maken, verkopen of dragen staan in desbetreffende hoofdstukken. Dit wordt verschillende ervaren. Hiervoor is bewust gekozen. De vrouwen kleuren elk onderdeel met hun verhaal.

14 juli: manuscript nog 35 pagina's. Minder tekst, meer informatie, dat voelt lekker.

3 juillet: round 6: texte informations de mise à jour des co-lecteurs, puis envoyé le script à l'entraîneur de l'écrivain.
5 juillet: discuter script avec l'entraîneur, obtenir des conseils d'écriture,
Round 7: commencer avec des conseils d'écrivains
14 juillet: manuscrit réduite à 35 pages. Moins de texte, plus d'information, ca sent bien.
